Electric buses in Koprivnica are examples of the first public transport of zero emissions in the Republic of Croatia.
The city of Koprivnica purchased electric mini buses as part of the Civitas Dyn@mo project, the largest and most demanding project in which the City participates. The aim of the project is to develop sustainable and energy-efficient urban mobility with an emphasis on electromobility. The total value of the project is approximately 13.1 million euros, with the European Union contribution of 8.5 million euros.
The zero emission public transport system will integrate with the capabilities of regional public transport and will be the first such system in cities of similar size in the region. The implementation of the measure was also attended by Čazmatrans - Nova d.o.o, who as a local partner wants to improve the transportation services of the citizens of Koprivnica. The measure is implemented in accordance with the Plan of Establishing Public Transportation in the City of Koprivnica, developed by Promet Plus d.o.o.
Electric mini buses are purchased from the Croatian company DOK-ING. Buses can transport 12 passengers with an autonomy of 90 to 130 km. The power of the electric motor is 100 kW, and the maximum speed is electronically limited to 90 km/h.
